The fields in this template

Each {{placeholder}} matches a column name in the sample list, so the two line up on their own.

PlaceholderWhat goes in it
{{Client Name}}Whose report this is.
{{Reporting Month}}"July 2026".
{{Revenue}}Formatted as money in your list.
{{Orders}}Count.
{{Conversion Rate}}Format it as text — "3.4%" — so it does not arrive as 0.034.
{{Month-over-Month}}"+12%" or "−4%". The direction matters more than the number.
{{Next Month Priority}}One sentence. The only forward-looking line on the slide.
{{Account Lead}}Who owns the account.

Why one slide

A monthly report competes with everything else in the client's inbox. One slide gets opened; a twelve-page deck gets "I will look at this later". If they want depth they will ask, and then you send the detail.

The month-over-month figure is what clients actually look for. Put it next to the number it refers to, not on a separate chart.

PowerPoint has no mail merge

This is the practical problem with client reporting. Word can merge from a spreadsheet; PowerPoint cannot, at all. So the usual answer — every agency's answer — is one person editing forty decks by hand on the first Monday of the month.

It does not have to be. A .pptx with {{placeholders}} plus a spreadsheet of the month's numbers produces all forty in one go, each named after the client. How that works.

Get the numbers out of the tool, not out of your head

Export from your analytics or order system into the spreadsheet, then generate. Retyping numbers into slides is where the wrong client's revenue ends up on the wrong report — and that is a phone call you do not want.

Need forty of them?

Upload this template with your own list and every row comes back as its own file, named from a column you choose. Word, PowerPoint or Excel in; Word or PDF out.
